Job Details
Responsibilities -
- Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team in the Baltimore office
- Oversee day to day operations including workload planning and staff coordination
- Mentor and support junior and mid level engineers
- Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Serve as Engineer of Record on select projects
- Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and code compliance
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Support proposals, scope development, and fee input
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall performance
- Promote quality control and consistency across projects
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer license required or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 16 or more years of mechanical design and project management experience
- Strong background in HVAC system design (plumbing and fire protection experience a plus)
- Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
