About the Role
ClarksTech LLC is seeking highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developers for a contract position with their client based in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This role requires hands-on expertise with strong backend skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, along with AWS (Ec2, Lambda, IAM, S3) frontend development experience using React or Angular and TypeScript. The ideal candidates will also have solid experience with MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases. We are looking to hire 1 Fullstack lead and 4 senior developers to join our client team. Candidates should have FinTech or banking domain (Payments, Merchant Clearing) experiences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a hybrid work model and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture in AWS platform
Build and enhance responsive web applications using React and TypeScript
Design and optimize queries for MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of developed solutions
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team mentorship
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner across the full stack
Required Skills & Experience
8 12 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java backend technologies and AWS cloud platform
Expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
Work with AWS cloud services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM
Proficiency in frontend technologies: React.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
Strong experience with one or more databases: MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and deliver high-quality code
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
