Key Responsibilities
- Configure PCF TCP routes and map to correct PCF apps via CF CLI
- Work with Networking team to
- Set up external L4 load balancer in TCP passthrough mode with per-port health checks
- Design DNS architecture — single A record, short TTL, JVM DNS cache validation
- Configure PCF security groups and network policies for inter-app traffic
- Simulate failure scenarios (app instance down, Redis failure) and validate platform response
- Set up monitoring — TCP connection metrics, latency dashboards, alert rules
- Coordinate with the Client Networking Teams
- 8 years DevOps / platform engineering; 1 years hands-on PCF operations
- Strong PCF skills — CF CLI, TCP Router, app manifests, route management
- Solid TCP/IP, DNS, and L4 load balancer fundamentals
- Experience configuring F5 LTM, Google Cloud Platform Cloud LB, or equivalent in passthrough mode
- PCF Redis managed service setup and operations
- mTLS / TLS configuration within PCF
- Linux networking tools — tcpdump, netstat, ss for low-level troubleshooting
