Key Responsibilities
- Analyze creditworthiness of new and existing counterparties and recommend/approve credit limits
- Monitor and manage counterparty exposure using real-time credit systems
- Negotiate, implement, and manage credit support instruments
- Review and approve counterparty contracts (new and amendments)
- Perform financial modeling to support credit limit decisions
- Manage credit-related configurations on trading platforms (e.g., ICE)
- Handle counterparty inquiries related to credit exposure
- Produce reports on credit activities and portfolio performance
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and working groups
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business and risk objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business environment
- Strong understanding of financial statements and ratio analysis
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas within Finance/Accounting
- Experience in commodity trading and marketing environments
- Familiarity with credit systems and electronic trading platforms (e.g., ICE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
- Minimum 7 years of Finance/Accounting/Business experience
- Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas industry experience in Finance/Accounting
- Strong expertise in credit analysis and financial ratio analysis
- Proven ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a focus on safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel)
- Ability to present insights and respond to leadership and counterparties
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to work extended hours/weekends if required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
