Key Responsibilities:
- Data Infrastructure Design: Lead the development of robust database designs to facilitate efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
- Database Management: Ensure compatibility and interoperability among various data sources and systems used across FEMA.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to shape FEMA's data architecture and support the agency's mission.
- Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data across different platforms and systems.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of data services.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and nine (9) years or more of experience. A Master's degree is preferred with seven (7) or more years of experience.
- Certifications: Must possess the following certifications:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Certification
- OCI Implementation Specialist Certification
- Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in designing and managing cloud-based databases and data infrastructure.
- Clearance: Must obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting work under this contract.
- Database Architecture: Strong expertise in database design, management, and optimization.
- Cloud Technologies: In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other cloud technologies.
- Data Integration: Proven experience ensuring compatibility and interoperability among various data sources and systems.
