The Business Analyst/Product Owner serves as a link between our business stakeholders and the technical engineering team. Your primary mission is to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements that drive the development of high-quality software solutions. You ensure that every feature developed provides measurable value and aligns with our long-term strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead elicitation sessions with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Create and maintain high-quality artifacts, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and data flow diagrams.
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritize the product backlog, ensuring the development team has a steady stream of "ready" tasks for each sprint.
- Facilitate communication between departments to resolve blockers, clarify specifications, and manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope and timelines.
- Work with the QA team to define test scenarios and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems, and translate them to system/application requirements/workflows.
Proven experience as an Business Analyst/Product Owner
- Exceptional ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Expertise in developing requirements documentation, such as User Stories, System Requirements, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria
- Ability to conduct necessary research and provide in-depth analysis to resolve production issues
- Understanding of UI designs (wireframes), user guides, help documentation, release notes, etc
