Role: Senior Backend Software Engineer POS Platform
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Model: Hybrid Tues & Wed onsite
Candidates must already be in the Charlotte, NC area OR willing to relocate and be onsite from Day 1
Duration: Long-term Contract
Rate: $60/hr W2
Interview Process: 2 3 rounds (depending on candidate pool)

- Java 8 4 years
- Micronaut or Spring Boot 2 years
- Agile/Scrum 4 years
- Spock Framework
- Reactive Programming
- IntelliJ Ultimate
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Postman
- K6 (JavaScript)
- AI exposure
- Project Reactor (Reactive Programming) 2 years
- Telemetry tools: Kibana / Splunk / Prometheus 2 years
- Java Streams & Optional 2 years
- Partner with Lead Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to deliver backend solutions for POS platform
- Design scalable, reusable backend services for multiple consumers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Strengthen automated testing to ensure stable releases
- Participate in full SDLC using enterprise standards and best practices
