Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer with a Major Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid 6 month contract opportunity.

Summary:

This role involves designing and building data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. The successful candidate will join the Information Security Data Operations team to analyze and develop data ingestion pipelines for a Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse, functioning as a key development resource and technical liaison between various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of data sources required for the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse
• Develop data pipelines, implement data lakes, and ensure data security and compliance
• Function as a development resource in the Information Security Data Operations team
• Act as a technical liaison between Data Owners, Security Architecture, Enterprise Information Protection, and Security Engineering teams
• Provide timely follow-ups and routine updates to the sprint schedule
• Adhere to internal IT SDLC agile processes
  
  

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience (10 years) in a data-focused role
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks
  
  

Desired skills:

• Azure certifications
  
  

Pay range: up to $81.72 per hour
