Roles & Responsibilities
- Design manual and automated testing processes, testing plans, and test cases
- Perform the following types of tests manually and/or using test automation tools: system, functional,
- Develop a comprehensive framework for software testing, and organize testing activities for new and
- Oversee integration, functional, system, regression, load, integration, performance, and UAT test scenarios
- Incorporate industry quality assurance testing standards, best practices, and tools into SPE environment
- Ensure system standards, code and documentation is recent and maintained in a central, and secure repository
- Maintain record of test discrepancies, using designated QA tools
- Provide feedback of test results to development staff for resolution
- Provide testing status to appropriate project management
- Collaborate with development leads and business analysts to design and create test data required to drive test scenarios
- Define and lead process improvements that will improve overall efficiency and software quality
- Play a strategic role in the overall design and implementation of the quality assurance program
- Maintain the overall quality of Project Deliverables and oversee all stages of testing
- Implement quality processes in support of the development and production change management process Manage a full-cycle process for recording test discrepancies and communicating those findings to the appropriate sources
