Job Title: Senior Associate, Data Analytics (Customer Analytics)

Location: SMB Business Development, Inc., 300 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713

Full time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

What you'll do :

• Support the analytics team in conducting data analysis, modeling, and reporting to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Gather, clean, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Develop models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
• Create presentations on findings and provide sound recommendations to leadership to influence strategic decision-making.
• Create and maintain data documentation, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality and data management processes.
• Gather, clean, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Create presentations on findings and provide sound recommendations to leadership to influence strategic decision-making.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality and data management processes.
• Hybrid work permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of Newark, DE office with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
  
  

WHAT YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Data Analyst, Strategy Analyst, Risk Analyst, Associate or related role where required experience gained. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience, employer will accept a Master's degree in stated fields and one (1) year of experience as a Data Analyst, Strategy Analyst, Risk Analyst, Associate or related role where required experience gained. Also requires one (1) year of experience in the following:

• Student or Consumer lending
• Data analysis, reporting, hypothesis testing or documentation
• SAS and SQL experience
• Tableau, Power BI or other BI tool experience
• Financial Services/Banking
