What You'll Do
- Install, service, and inspect security alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems for commercial clients
- Terminate and dress Cat5/Cat6 cabling for IP video systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain low-voltage systems
- Read blueprints and work with networking hardware
- Collaborate with a skilled team and occasionally work independently
- Participate in an on-call rotation for service needs
- Experience with intrusion alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and IP video systems
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work comfortably on ladders
- OSHA 10 certification (training provided if hired)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Background check and drug test required
- Experience with Lenel access control, Bosch Security, or FCI fire alarm panels
- Familiarity with NEC codes and regulations
- Construction, telecom, or locksmithing Background
- Company vehicle, cell phone, and iPad provided
