Summary: Security Engineers design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect IT systems. They proactively monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigations.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams for secure system integration.
• Implement access control and identity management solutions.
• Conduct security awareness training for staff.
• Maintain security documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Test and evaluate new security tools and technologies.
• Respond to and remediate security incidents promptly.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in IT security.
• Knowledge of network security, encryption, and authentication methods.
• Experience with SIEM tools and incident response.
  
  

Preferred Skills/Duties:

• CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
  
  

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
