Kforce has a client in need of a SDET/Automation Java Tester
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, integration, regression)
- Write high-quality automated test code and integrate into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure test coverage aligns to business-critical workflows and risk areas
- Embed quality early by collaborating in requirements, design, and sprint planning
- Define test strategies, data, and environments to support delivery goals
- Support in-sprint testing, release readiness, and quality metrics reporting
- Drive defect prevention, test efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and delivery leads
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, REST/API testing tools, Karma )
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, SDLC, and agile methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
