Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SCM Solution Architect with strong techno-functional expertise in Oracle SaaS Cloud, specifically across Inventory, Costing, and Product Data Hub. This role requires a hands-on professional who can translate complex business needs into scalable Oracle-based solutions, while actively contributing to configuration, integration, and overall solution delivery within the SaaS and PaaS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret functional and technical requirements within the supply chain domain
- Design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions leveraging Oracle SCM Cloud capabilities
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver RICE components (reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions)
- Apply strong understanding of Oracle Fusion data structures to support solution design and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions using OTBI within SCM modules
- Configure Oracle SaaS applications and prepare functional and technical design documentation
- Contribute to the design and implementation of PaaS-based extensions where required
- Support data migration activities, including mapping legacy data to Oracle Cloud structures
- Work closely with business users and IT teams to identify, track, and resolve system issues and defects
- Ensure smooth coordination across multiple teams involved in the implementation lifecycle
- 10–12 years of overall experience in Supply Chain Management systems, with 6–8 years focused on Oracle SCM Cloud (Inventory, Costing, Product Data Hub)
- Strong understanding of Oracle SaaS architecture, including data models and table structures
- Proven experience integrating Oracle SCM applications with external or third-party systems
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as OTBI
- Ability to perform data mapping between legacy systems and Oracle Cloud applications
- Solid experience in preparing functional specifications and solution design artifacts
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle both functional and technical challenges
- Exposure to Oracle Business Network (OBN) or EDI-based integrations
- Experience working with Oracle Agent Studio
- Familiarity with cloud-based extension frameworks and PaaS capabilities
- Oracle SCM Cloud certifications are highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 12–15 years of overall IT experience with significant exposure to Oracle SCM implementations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact directly with client leadership
