SAP Senior Controlling (FICO) Consultant

Location & Travel Details: Michigan. Intermittent (Travel alternative week / month)

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

This role requires deep expertise in SAP Controlling (CO) with strong integration capabilities across logistics modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) design, configuration, and implementation activities
• Configure and optimize:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Product Costing (CO-PC)
• Margin Analysis (CO-PA)
• Manage and execute period-end closing activities
• Work extensively with:
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• New Asset Accounting
• Material Ledger
• Ensure seamless integration between CO and logistics modules (MM, SD, PP)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions
• Utilize SAP Fiori applications to enhance user experience and reporting capabilities
• Provide troubleshooting, support, and continuous improvement recommendations
• Engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into SAP solutions
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3 10 years of SAP FICO experience, with a focus on Controlling (CO)
• At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation
• 3 6 years of hands-on experience in CO implementation, rollout, or support projects
• Strong configuration expertise in:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Product Costing (CO-PC)
• Margin Analysis (CO-PA)
• In-depth knowledge of:
• Overhead costing
• Period-end closing processes
• Material Ledger
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• Proven experience integrating CO with MM, SD, and PP modules
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori UX and reporting tools
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor s or master s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
