Role Overview
The SAP Practice Head will be responsible for owning, scaling, and transforming the SAP practice across traditional SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and RISE with SAP engagements.
This role combines technology leadership, delivery excellence, P&L ownership, and gotomarket collaboration.
The individual will act as a trusted advisor to clients, drive SAP modernization programs, and build a futureready SAP capability aligned with hyperscalers and SAP s cloud roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
- Practice & P&L Ownership
- Own endtoend SAP Practice P&L, including revenue growth, margins, utilization, and cost optimization.
- Define practice strategy and roadmap across ECC support, S/4HANA migrations, RISE with SAP, and AMS.
- Build annual operating plans, headcount plans, and capability investments.
- Delivery & Program Leadership
- Ensure highquality delivery across:
- SAP ECC (all core modules)
- SAP S/4HANA (Greenfield, Brownfield, Landscape transformation)
- RISE with SAP engagements
- Oversee large, complex SAP programs including:
- Implementations
- Conversions
- Rollouts
- Managed Services (AMS)
- Drive delivery governance, risk management, and client satisfaction (CSAT).
- SAP Technology & Architecture Leadership
- Provide thought leadership across:
- SAP ECC S/4HANA transition strategies
- RISE with SAP commercial and technical models
- SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Fiori, and Cloud ALM
- Guide clients on:
- Transformation approach selection
- Business case creation
- Phased vs. bigbang migrations
- Partner with SAP and hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) on joint opportunities.
- GoToMarket & PreSales
- Work closely with Sales, Client Partners, and Marketing to:
- Shape SAP deals
- Respond to RFPs
- Build differentiated solution offerings
- Act as executive sponsor / solution authority in large pursuits.
- Create industryspecific SAP offerings and value propositions.
- Talent & Capability Building
- Build and scale highperforming SAP teams across:
- Functional (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, WM, EWM, PM, HR, etc.)
- Technical (ABAP, BASIS, Security, Integration)
- Drive:
- Hiring strategy
- Skill transformation from ECC to S/4HANA
- Certification programs
- Leadership bench and succession planning
- Mentor senior SAP leaders, architects, and delivery managers.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as executivelevel interface for key SAP clients.
- Build longterm strategic relationships with CIOs, CTOs, COOs, and business leaders.
- Proactively identify account expansion and transformation opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience
- 18 years of SAP experience, with 5 years in a leadership role managing large SAP practices or portfolios.
- Proven experience across:
- SAP ECC (multimodule)
- SAP S/4HANA transformations
- RISE with SAP programs
- Strong background in IT services / system integrator environment.
- Deep understanding of:
- SAP ECC and S/4HANA architectures
- RISE with SAP commercial and technical constructs
- SAP AMS models
- Exposure to:
- SAP BTP
- Integration (PI/PO, CPI)
- Security & GRC
- Cloud infrastructure and operations
- Strong P&L ownership mindset
- Executive presence and clientfacing credibility
- Ability to balance delivery rigor with growth ambition
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- SAP certifications (S/4HANA, Architecture, or Functional)
- Experience working with SAP directly or SAP partner ecosystem
- Exposure to global delivery models and multigeography clients
- Stabilize and grow SAP revenue and margins
- Build a strong S/4HANA & RISE with SAP pipeline
- Strengthen leadership bench within the SAP practice
- Improve delivery predictability and CSAT
- Establish the organization as a credible SAP transformation partner
