SAP OTC Business System Analyst

Location: Santra Clara, CA US. Visit Office 2-3 days a week. (Hybrid)

Requirement Summary:

Work closely with Business Systems Analyst team to determine optimal solutions addressing the functional requirements.

Translate requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications documentation.

Design, Develop and Maintain a diverse set of SAP Objects based on the business needs.

Conduct design reviews, code reviews as per established SDLC guidelines.

Proactively monitors and supports the production landscape to address issues.

Technical and Experience Requirements:

Required Technical Proficiency Does the candidate have direct, hands-on experience with our core needs?

• In-depth understanding of SAP SD and its integration with MM, FI, R2R, Shipping, and Billing
• Deep functional knowledge of end-to-end OTR processes (Net new orders, Renewals, RMA, Credit/Debit memos)
• Experience with SAP RAR (reconciliation) and GTS (trade compliance)
• Hands-on experience with OTR integrations, especially CPQ/SFDC, EDI, and OneSource
• Knowledge of outbound logistics, invoicing, and quality management
  
  

Relevant Project Experience Have they done work that is highly similar to this project in scope, scale, and complexity?

• Proven experience in an SAP production support role, not just implementation
• Experience supporting critical financial periods (month-end and quarter-end close)
• Specific examples of supporting third-party fulfillment processes (e.g., Flex, Flash)
• Experience working in an agile software delivery environment
  
  

Autonomy & Problem-Solving Can they work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver results without constant supervision?

• Ability to independently manage production issues and defect fixes
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of system gaps or data corruption
• Can own the design and provide creative solutions for SD-related production fallouts
• Demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues promptly
  
  

Communication & Reliability Are they clear, concise, and professional? Do they seem dependable and able to provide regular status updates?

• Experience working closely with business groups in the Quote to Cash area
• Can clearly understand and document "AS-IS" business processes
• Ability to document root cause analysis and functional designs
  
  

Scope & Expectation Alignment Do they understand the project goals, deliverables, and the temporary nature of the contract?

• Understands the primary goal is owning production support to keep the environment bug-free and stable
• Acknowledges the role involves supporting all OTR processes and ongoing reconciliation activities
• Demonstrates a "passionate," customer-focused attitude to provide the "best possible experience" for users
