Job Summary

We are seeking an SAP HANA Functional Consultant – Finance to support financial operations and reporting within a large-scale retail environment. The consultant will work closely with finance, accounting, procurement, and sales teams to ensure efficient financial processing, accurate reporting, compliance, and integration across retail business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document finance and accounting business requirements.
• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Finance modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Controlling (CO)
• Support financial processes related to retail sales, inventory valuation, procurement, and store operations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Configure tax, banking, payment processing, and financial reporting structures.
• Support revenue recognition, profitability analysis, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to ensure accurate financial integration and reporting.
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
• Participate in data migration, reconciliation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and analytics using SAP HANA capabilities.
• Provide production support and recommend process improvements.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA Finance.
• Good understanding of retail finance and accounting processes.
• Experience with inventory accounting, revenue accounting, and profitability analysis.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and PL/SQL is required.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Information Technology, or related field.
• CA, CMA, CPA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 5 years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience.
• Retail industry experience preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is an advantage.
