Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Copado DevOps Engineer responsible for managing release processes, CI CD pipelines, and deployment automation within Salesforce environments. The role focuses on streamlining release management, ensuring seamless deployments, and maintaining high quality delivery across multiple Salesforce instances.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience with Copado, Salesforce development, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to manage complex enterprise release cycles and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage end to end Salesforce release management using Copado.
Plan and execute release cycles including sandbox refreshes, deployments, and hotfixes.
Implement and maintain CI CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
Administer Copado including pipeline setup, user permissions, and deployment monitoring.
Manage Salesforce metadata, Git repositories, and branching strategies.
Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure successful releases.
Monitor deployment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Implement change control processes and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Manage Salesforce environments including development, testing, and production.
Maintain documentation including release notes, deployment logs, and rollback procedures.
Optimize release processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and speed.
Automate deployment workflows to reduce manual effort and errors.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
8 years of experience working with Salesforce in DevOps or release engineering roles.
2 years of hands on experience with Copado for Salesforce release management.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Copado for release management and CI CD automation.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform including objects, flows, Apex, and triggers.
Experience with Git based version control and branching strategies.
Experience with CI CD tools such as GitLab or Bitbucket.
Experience automating release and deployment processes.
Experience managing Salesforce environments and sandbox strategies.
Knowledge of data management including data masking and seeding.
Understanding of DevOps methodologies and best practices.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in fast paced and high pressure environments.
Strong collaboration skills with cross functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Copado certification is highly preferred.
