We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Roadway Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple high-profile projects that will shape the future of transportation. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and project managers to design and implement roadway projects from conceptual stages to final construction. This position requires a strong understanding of roadway design principles, transportation engineering, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement detailed design plans for roadway projects using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads, and Openroads.
• Conduct structural analysis and feasibility studies for proposed projects, ensuring they meet all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, from initial proposal through to final delivery.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of transportation engineering to develop innovative and efficient solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Participate in land development processes, including site planning, grading, and stormwater management design.
• Ensure all designs and plans adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all project objectives and expectations are met.
  
  

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in roadway design, transportation engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other relevant design software.
• Experience with InRoads and Openroads is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and transportation engineering principles.
• Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A strong understanding of land development processes and principles.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and adapt to changing project needs.
