The specialist resolves high-impact data quality issues, interprets evolving coding requirements, and implements best practices for semantic interoperability. Given that the terminology services tool requires extensive manual training, refinement, and expert judgment to reach maturity, this role provides necessary adjustments to shape the tool s learning and ensure its outputs are accurate and scalable
Description (including, but not limited to):
Skill Required/Desired Amount of Experience Experience working with clinical terminologies and coding systems such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD, CPT, and RxNorm Required 3.0 Years A strong understanding of health data exchange standards Required 1.0 Years Familiarity with health data exchange standards and interoperability frameworks (e.g., HL7, FHIR) Required 1.0 Years Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Required 1.0 Years Experience working in a Health Information Exchange (HIE) or clinical informatics environment Required 1.0 Years Knowledge of terminology management tools or platforms Highly desired 1.0 Years Understanding of clinical workflows and data use in healthcare settings Highly desired 1.0 Years

- Guidance and leadership in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Developer / Programmer
- Understanding and knowledge of application development and architecture that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program
- Analysis, visual design, development, data analysis, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions, maintenance (including production support), etc.
