This role is highly focused on building preventative maintenance programs, leading FMEA processes, and ensuring accurate asset hierarchy and system data within Maximo / GMARS.
This individual will work cross-functionally with reliability, process, and maintenance teams to drive equipment reliability, optimize maintenance planning, and support system readiness for operations.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Receive and validate master asset data from engineering and project teams
- Collaborate with planners and schedulers to prioritize system delivery and readiness
- Review P&IDs and system documentation to support FMEA / PFMEA development
- Lead FMEA sessions with Reliability and Process Engineers to identify failure modes and mitigation strategies
- Develop and implement Component Level Impact Assessments (CLIA) to determine equipment criticality
- Build and populate asset data and maintenance structures within Maximo / GMARS (CMMS systems)
- Develop preventative maintenance (PM) job plans using:
- Define maintenance frequencies and optimize PM strategies
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of maintenance master data packages by system and asset
- Track and follow up on system readiness, documentation, and checklist completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Reliability, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-7 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or asset management
- Strong experience with:
- FMEA / PFMEA / RCM methodologies
- CMMS systems (Maximo preferred, SAP PM acceptable)
- Preventative maintenance program development
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and technical documentation
- Experience working in asset-intensive industries (manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical, pharma, power, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills
