Job Title: Release Manager

Duration: 12 months strong possibility of extension

Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite)

Role Overview

The client is seeking a highly motivated Release Manager to drive end-to-end release management across complex software and system environments. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage release cycles, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle including planning, scheduling, and deployment
• Coordinate across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure release readiness
• Maintain release calendars, release logs, and deployment plans
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers impacting release timelines
• Drive Go-Live activities, production releases, and post-release monitoring
• Ensure adherence to CI/CD, DevOps, and quality standards
• Lead release readiness reviews, CAB meetings, and stakeholder communications
• Continuously improve release processes for speed, stability, and scalability
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Release Management / DevOps / Program Management
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale releases
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, AI, or high-tech environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Background in software engineering or system architecture
