Job Duties:
- Track and monitor purchase orders to provide daily updates on work-in-progress (WIP) milestones.
- Verify the placement and status of raw material orders related to production operations.
- Provide detailed job status updates and identify root causes for any delays or schedule deviations.
- Monitor and document the progression of jobs through outside processing steps to ensure adherence to planned schedules.
- Conduct a one-time physical inventory assessment of furnished materials.
- Act as a liaison between the client and subcontractors, facilitating smooth interactions and resolving any process issues.
- Lead and participate in weekly status meetings to review progress on open line items and ensure alignment between stakeholders.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or materials support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple open items and milestones
- Clear communication skills for supplier and internal coordination
- Basic proficiency with Excel and ERP / purchasing systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Resident is required due to the nature of this work.
