Kforce has a client in Mesa, AZ that is seeking a Quality Technician/Engineer who is fluent in English & Mandarin Chinese. This role will support quality initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment. These are direct-hire openings, and we are working exclusively with the hiring manager on this search.
Summary:
The Quality Control Technician/Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effective deployment and continuous improvement of quality systems, processes, and standards across manufacturing operations. This individual plays a key role in inspection, process control, defect reduction, and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.

Summary:
The Quality Control Technician/Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effective deployment and continuous improvement of quality systems, processes, and standards across manufacturing operations. This individual plays a key role in inspection, process control, defect reduction, and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on electrical and mechanical systems
- Record and verify accurate measurements, including electrical terminations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency
- Identify and eliminate process variation and product defects using data-driven and creative solutions
- Maintain and support ISO-based quality management systems
- Implement statistical process control and quality analysis for raw materials, WIP, non-conforming material, and finished goods
- Ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met
- Reduce waste and improve efficiency through Lean Manufacturing principles
- Support and participate in internal and external audits
- Develop, track, and present KPI and quality performance reports
- Actively support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge through ongoing learning
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (required)
- PV manufacturing experience or experience in a related industry preferred (5 years a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and production staff
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, on-call schedules, and occasional outdoor environments
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and/or Toyota Production System
- Strong understanding of statistical tools for process control and product monitoring
- Solid computer skills and data analysis capabilities
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Mechanical aptitude and interest
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage small improvement projects from concept through execution
- Effective collaborator across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
