Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and applicable aerospace/defense quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) related to internal nonconformances and customer issues.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and lab teams to improve process capability, yield, and first-pass quality.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with aerospace or defense customers and high-compliance manufacturing teams to ensure that our products meet or exceed their expectations.
- Manage and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure that quality issues are addressed effectively and efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in AS9100, NADCAP, and other relevant quality standards.
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis (RCCA) and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
- Experience in supporting internal, customer, and third-party audits.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of using quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience in working with aerospace or defense customers and high-compliance manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of CAPA processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to collaboration and problem-solving.
