Overview

This role focuses on API and test automation validation, working closely with development and product teams to ensure quality across both manual and automated testing efforts. The ideal candidate has strong hands?on experience with test automation tools, scripting, and test documentation within an Agile SDLC environment.

Role And Responsibilities

• Create and execute API requests, collections, and environments in Postman for validation and assertions
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to understand requirements and define test scenarios
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test cases, and test result documentation
• Perform test data validation and support defect tracking and reporting
• Participate in both manual and automated testing activities
  
  

Must Have Skills

• Proficiency in Java or JavaScript for automation scripting
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG
• Hands?on experience using IntelliJ IDE
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of test data validation
• Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and reporting
• Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in both manual and automated testing environments
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies

• Experience with JUnit or Karate
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL, or MySQL for test data validation

• Strong analytical and problem?solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
