Genesis10 is currently seeking a Test Analyst for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX and Addison, TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role will work side-by-side with development, DevOps, and QA teams to determine optimal test coverage and ensure high-quality software is delivered to our customers. The Test Analyst will utilize automation tools to create test scripts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintain robust frameworks, and enhance testing capabilities within a continuous improvement culture.

Responsibilities:

• Test and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes
• Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements through comprehensive testing
• Execute manual and automated tests, and report issues and defects with clear background information
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 2-4 years of experience with Selenium, Automation, and Java
• Good knowledge of Java programming concepts with hands-on experience in writing code
• Knowledge of the software testing lifecycle and processes
• Experience with testing API and UI based applications
• Comfortable writing SQL queries
• Experience with Lean Agile methodologies
  
  

Desired skills:

• Knowledge in AI and its application to software testing
• Experience with Agile tools (Jira)
  
  

Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour
