Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester - Hybrid for a 12 month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Newark, DE.

This role requires a Quality Assurance professional to design, develop, and execute API test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate will create and maintain automation test frameworks for REST and SOAP based APIs using tools like SOA Test, Postman, or SOAP UI.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain automation test frameworks for REST and SOAP based APIs using SOA test, postman or SOAP UI
• Develop reusable test automation components and utilities using Java
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA teams to identify, isolate and resolve defects
• Conduct Regression and Integration End to end testing for backend services and API
• Document and track defects, test results and automation metrics
• Cont ribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
  
  

Requirements:

• 5 years of QA experience
• Hands on experience in API testing and automation
• Deep understanding of RESTful and SOAP-based web services
• Strong experience with SOAP UI, SOA Test, or Postman
• Familiarity with test management and defect management tools like JIRA, Octane
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite
  
  

Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour
