- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for trading systems, reporting tools, and financial applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, developers, and product managers to understand system requirements and automation needs.
- Implement automated testing solutions for functional, regression, performance, and API testing of trading platforms.
- Validate data integrity, calculations, and analytics within financial systems through automation.
- Identify, prioritize, and track defects, working closely with development and operations teams for timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance test automation coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable deployment cycles.
- Ensure systems comply with financial regulations and internal security standards.
- Produce detailed reports on automation testing results, defect metrics, and system quality status.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in QA automation within financial trading environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, RestAssured, or similar.
- Knowledge of trading platforms, financial instruments (equities, derivatives, FX, fixed income), and market operations.
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL databases, and data validation techniques.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Certification such as ISTQB, CSTE, or related automation certifications.
- Experience with financial regulatory standards like MiFID, Dodd-Frank, or SEC regulations.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
