Vertex IT Systems is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will be process-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with experience in automation testing (Selenium) and a solid grasp of industry-specific best practices. This role requires flexibility with work hours, including off-hours and weekends, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, non-functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Follow and improve QA processes and testing frameworks.
• Adapt to evolving project requirements and take on additional tasks as needed.
• Identify, document, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Demonstrate proactiveness, enthusiasm, and accountability in delivering quality outcomes.
• Be flexible with work hours, including availability for off-hours and weekend support when required.

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium.
• Understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with the industry or domain the product operates in.
