Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing Leadership
- Drive end-to-end testing activities across multiple Agile projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables for each sprint/iteration.
- Lead coordination with business UAT teams, IT partners, and third-party vendors to meet testing milestones and secure timely signoffs.
- Define test strategies and customize test approaches for complex systems and cross-application workflows.
- Scope, design, build, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Create and manage scalable test plans covering functionality, usability, security, and performance.
- Apply Test-Driven (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) concepts where applicable.
- Maintain and configure multiple non-production environments, resolving environment-related issues proactively.
- Partner with DBA teams to handle data refreshes, test data provisioning, and validation activities.
- Work closely with developers to triage issues, prioritize fixes, and drive defect resolution through closure.
- Apply strong debugging capabilities and leverage DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory) for continuous integration and automated pipelines.
- Ensure alignment with SDLC processes and Agile practices (Scrum/Lean).
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, optimizing testing processes, documentation, and automation efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders, delivering status updates, risks, and recommendations.
- 5 years of QA automation experience using: Selenium, SOAPUI/Postman, qTest, TestNG, Java, REST API testing, XML, Unix.
- 6 years of hands-on functional testing experience.
- 4 years of Oracle experience with strong ability to write SQL queries.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
- Functional knowledge of telecom systems such as order provisioning and billing.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and open-source QA frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern CI/CD practices.
- Experience with AI/ML-driven test automation frameworks is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
