Responsibilities:
- Define target microservices architecture, including API standards, service contracts, and integration patterns.
- Own non-functional architecture covering security, observability, data flow, resiliency, and performance.
- Lead solution design reviews, architecture decision records (ADRs), and technical risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive architecture alignment for legacy coexistence, authentication bridging, JWT-based access, and phased cutover strategies.
- Support discovery and extraction of business rules from legacy systems, including Perl-based logic, databases, and integrations.
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams on deployment strategies, rollout, rollback, and production readiness.
- Strong backend architecture expertise using Python and modern frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Experience in API governance, authentication and authorization design, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of observability, cloud-native architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with modernization strategies such as strangler-fig pattern and legacy system decomposition.
- Strong understanding of high-availability and resilient system design.
- Ability to work across data, security, DevOps, and performance engineering domains.
- 10 years of experience in solution architecture or lead engineering roles, particularly in modernizing legacy or monolithic platforms.
- Define and document target architecture and key design decisions.
- Establish API standards, integration patterns, and non-functional architecture guidelines.
- Provide technical review inputs to ensure readiness, scalability, and extensibility for future phases.
Salary : $62 - $67
