Job Description
- Proficiency in Python, with demonstrated experience building and maintaining backend services or APIs
- Working knowledge of at least one additional programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go)
- Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI, React, Angular, or Vue)
- Familiarity with RESTful API design, development, and integration
- Understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and deployment workflows
- Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git, including branching and pull request workflows
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts (e.g., authentication, authorization, RBAC, OAuth, SSO)
- Experience integrating or working with IAM tools or providers (e.g., Okta, Auth0, Azure AD) is preferred
- Understanding of security best practices in web application development
- Experience with containerization and/or orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Exposure to Python ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) for simple data processing or experimentation
- Familiarity with prompt design and basic evaluation of AI outputs
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments for deploying and operating applications, including log monitoring, process/service management, basic troubleshooting, and writing simple scripts (e.g., Bash/Python) to automate routine tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot across the stack
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
