Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project from inception to completion. This includes defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, and develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, and determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end, and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Manage and coordinate the installation of HVAC and plumbing systems according to specifications and building codes, and review engineering drawings for any potential issues.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically with Mechanical/HVAC projects.
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Demonstrated experience in the management and coordination of plumbing installations.
- Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings and building codes related to HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
