Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Project Manager - Bioinformatics on behalf of our client in North Chicago, IL. This role focuses on the tactical execution of data strategy initiatives within a bioinformatics environment, supporting advanced analytics and AI/ML driven projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, alignment with business goals, and seamless coordination across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive working groups across key focus areas such as platform implementation, metadata management, and data storage solutions
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Manage risks, dependencies, and priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Facilitate meetings, track progress, and ensure timely follow-up on action items
• Establish and maintain effective communication frameworks among stakeholders and teams
• Provide consistent status reporting to leadership and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
• Support the integration of tools and platforms to enable advanced analytics and data workflows
  
  

Required Experience

• 5 years of Project Management experience
• Experience in life sciences, bioinformatics, or data-driven environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical requirements into structured, actionable project plans
• Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools
