Job Description:
ECS is seeking a Project Analyst for Summer 2026 to provide administrative and project management support for several ongoing efforts supporting development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions for the Department of Defense.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Management team supporting daily activities
- Schedule meetings, create agendas, publish minutes, and track actions
- Support creation and management of user accounts, and track JIRA Tickets
- Develop Risk Register and manage risks, mitigation actions, and contingencies
- Support weekly Program Meetings with Government Customers
- Maintain team documentation and organization
- Develop and maintain MS Project Plans and Schedule documents
- Work closely with vendors and customer to ensure efficient tasking
- Assist the Project Manager with estimating project cost
- Assist the Project Manager with project initiation, planning, execution and closing
- Provide operational support to Project Manager relating to procurement, staffing, and ongoing program initiatives
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Imagery Analysis, Defense, Security, Business, Project Management, Finance, Information Technology, or similar field
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools and O365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
- Exceptional planning, problem-solving, data collection, and analytical skills
- Proactive and organized, with incredibly strong attention to detail
- A critical thinker with the ability to tackle discrete objectives while maintaining focus on the bigger picture / broader strategy
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to expertly balance multiple, competing priorities and execute accordingly
- A motivated, self-starter who enthusiastically tackles challenging operational problems and can quickly grasp and implement creative solutions
- A proven track record of self-improvement and continuous learning
- Knowledge of Agile, Kanban and/or JIRA
- DoD 8570 Security Certificate (CompTIA Security )
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification
- Experience with JIRA ticketing systems
- Knowledge of government contracts and purchasing
- Knowledge of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) and Government Procurement
