Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has an immediate contract opening for a Program Security Officer (CPSO) for the SDA GMI Program. You will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for:
- Managing our client''s GMI Program Security execution of the GMI Program
- Advise team on visitor requests
- CUI Room Security Mgt
- Verify SECRET Room Security in good Standing
- Coordinate Classified Meetings
- Ensure that PPIP is integrated to program activities
- Work closely with FSO to manage Program security and facilitate team interactions
- Communicate Secure Program Operation to Team
- CUI email etc.
- Work with SDA and other entities to setup required access by program team members
- JRIC communication
- SIPR Token Acquisition and Lifecycle Mgt
- CAC Card Acquisition and Lifecycle Mgt
- Naval LIFT access
- Track Official Program Roster and Personnel Access
- Training
- Our client''s Tool Access
- Room Access
- SIPR/CAC Access
- Removal when no longer required
- Communication with FSO for Access
- Serve as POC for Program Security Events and Incidents
- Interact with FSO, PMO, and customer for resolution / reporting
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (Top Secret is preferred)
- Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field and 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master''s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Experience as a CPSO/CSSO or program security role on classified programs
- Strong knowledge of NISPOM and CUI handling requirements
- Experience managing classified spaces (SCIF/CUI rooms) and secure operations
- Hands-on experience with SIPRNet access & token management, CAC cards, visit requests (DISS/JPAS), Personnel access tracking & program rosters, etc.
- Ability to coordinate with FSO, PMO, and government customers
- Experience handling security incidents, reporting, and compliance
- Strong communication skills to enforce secure program operations
