We are seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst for our client in the Defense & Space Manufacturing industry.
Position summary:
- Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
- Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and experience developing/maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) and/or Special Compartmented Information Access (SCI) is frequently required.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project management principles.
- Level 4 experience a plus.
- Previous experience working for an aerospace and defense company.
- Experience with specialized tools, including Deltek Cobra and Deltek Acumen Risk.
- Expert-level MS Project skills and Excel Macro/VBA skills.
- Experience with Resource Loaded Schedules (RLS), Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
- Direct experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and familiarity with DCMA health metrics.
