RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Production Planner/Master Scheduler in Phoenix, AZ.

Summary:

The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials through the production process. This role supports overall customer fulfillment by coordinating material availability, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring accurate tracking of inventory and order status.

Role & Duties:

Material Flow & Expediting:

  • Ensure timely movement of raw materials, parts, subassemblies, and finished goods from internal or external suppliers
  • Locate, track, and expedite critical materials as needed to meet schedule requirements

Inventory & Order Monitoring:

  • Review open sales order reports, forecast schedules, and inventory levels
  • Maintain and update material control records or systems; Verify accuracy of reports
  • Investigate and adjust material counts when discrepancies occur

Production & Scheduling Coordination:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate product movement through the full production cycle
  • Align production plans with material availability to support on-time delivery
  • Represent the department in shipment status meetings and follow up to ensure commitments are met

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Provide input to management and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Production, and Engineering
  • Communicate scheduling updates and material constraints to internal stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Logistics, Manufacturing, or Spares Operations
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication for cross-functional coordination
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing production environment
  • Onsite flexibility required
  • Must be willing to work Day Shift, with one of the following schedules: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
