Core Responsibilities:
- Product Owner will serve as the primary point of accountability for a suite of digital platforms, ERP systems, or bespoke applications
- Shape and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction in alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder feedback
- Drive decisions around feature prioritization, release schedules, and deployment strategies to maximize value delivery
- Manage and refine a dynamic product backlog, balancing new features, enhancements, and issue resolution
- Convert business requirements into well-defined user stories, functional specs, and use case documentation
- Partner with stakeholders to uncover business challenges, identify process inefficiencies, and explore opportunities for improvement
- Lead discovery and requirements workshops, acting as a bridge between business units and technical teams
- Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing by reviewing test plans, validating functionality, and coordinating feedback loops
- Participate in go/no-go assessments by confirming readiness of deliverables with development teams and end users
- Maintain transparency through regular updates on project status, risks, and key milestones
- Promote cross-functional alignment by actively engaging in meetings, documenting decisions, and fostering shared understanding
- As a Product Owner, you will assist with internal communications, including release notes and user feedback collection on a bi-monthly cadence
- Engage in collaborative sessions such as design critiques, mob programming, or technical discussions to support solution development
- Continuously seek process enhancements by analyzing stakeholder input and operational data to identify areas for refinement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline - or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid role
- Demonstrated success managing full lifecycle product or system implementations
- Proficient in requirements gathering, user story development, and backlog refinement
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or PMI-ACP
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite), internal business tools, or custom-built software solutions
- Background in business process optimization or systems integration
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams spanning IT, operations, and business units
- Foundational technical knowledge of APIs, cloud-based platforms, and data flow architecture
- Project management credentials such as PMP or CAPM are a plus
