- Actively managing prioritization of feature backlog for the multiple Development Teams you support including ensuring that prioritization in the feature backlog supports timely outcome and milestone delivery, that each feature clearly documents cross-team dependencies and risks with mitigation plans, that technical details are fully documented and understood by assigned engineers or data scientist, and that feature Backlog Health meets organizational expectations for % of team capacity covered by features prioritized in a Backlog state before each PI Planning.
- Actively managing prioritization of story backlogs for the multiple Development Teams you support including ensuring that backlogs always have at least four sprints of refined stories. This includes drafting stories and leading engineers and/or data scientist through refinement to create final stories that they commit to delivering on schedule.
- Actively validating story, feature, and release completion including organizing and running UAT (when needed), ensuring that customer needs are meet by each delivered story/feature/release, and validating technical soundness of delivered code by reviewing and approving testing results.
- 5 or more years experience delivering successful AI and/or automation use cases to products OR mixed experience delivering successful use cases and consulting on AI technology and tooling totaling 5 years.
- 3 or more years experience in enterprise IT, analytics, or data science at major financial institutions managing analytics/AI use case definition, pilot, and delivery.
- 2 or more years experience managing delivery team backlog and workflow in systems of record such as JIRA.
- 2 or more years experience managing execution and delivery of pilot-to-production development in a timely and predictable manner.
- 2 or more years experience successfully managing development team and/or program-level projects across large technology organizations. Including developing and tracking action plans, organizing development and release workflows, and presenting action plan and status updates to leaders and stakeholders.
- Technical fluency: comfortable understanding and discussing AI concepts and how they impact stakeholder needs.
- Proven ability to decompose features into iterative stories for incremental product delivery guided by understanding of AI use cases business and technical objectives.
- Proven success managing release processes including assessing and documenting testing, determining whether code meets product requirements, presenting demos, post release validation, and documentation of work completion.
- Proven ability to represent products with expert verbal and written communication to various audiences, including Director-level stakeholders, business users, and IT partners.
- Experience working with, engaging, and influencing multiple cross-functional teams and leaders including Directors, engineers, and other personnel across geographically distributed work environments to deliver working AI use cases on schedule.
- Proven bias towards informed action demonstrated by taking initiative to develop an understanding of ambiguous development challenges, planning a path forward, and generating buy-in for quick impactful action.
