Role Description:
We are seeking a highly strategic and technically adept Medallion Data Product Owner to lead enterprise data product transformation initiatives within a Chief Data Office organization.
This role will actively support the deployment and operationalization of a medallion framework across enterprise cloud data platforms while helping transition legacy data products into scalable, governed, and business-aligned modern data products.
The ideal candidate is a true Product Owner and strategic leader — not simply a delivery coordinator or technical contributor. This individual must be comfortable driving product vision, influencing architecture decisions, prioritizing competing demands, and navigating complex enterprise stakeholder environments.
This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership, enterprise architecture, engineering, analytics, and business domain teams.
Support delivery of trusted and reliable data products efficiently and in accordance with good data management principles with regards to lineage, cataloging and quality.
Manage Product and associated program level delivery and management, including stakeholder communication.
Build and own large Data products or set of Data products vision and roadmap that aligns with the overall strategic intent and communicate them with the team and all stakeholders. Prioritize the backlog(s) based on the overall product vision and strategy.
Represent key stakeholders (customer, business or technology) within the team and convey story details to the team; make autonomous decisions, quickly and thoughtfully, to move delivery forward in alignment with overall product vision and strategy.
Write user stories and groom the backlog in partnership with the team. Specify acceptance criteria for each user story in support of moving the team to Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD).
Work directly with the delivery team to create appropriate information radiators and other communication tools for internal team and stakeholder use to show progress on a large product or multiple products. Participate in all team activities and ceremonies. Use a matrixed influencing approach to work with essential business partners throughout the organization, often at a more senior level and irrespective of hierarchy or divisions, advocating for the benefit of the customer. Understand and engage with your customers.

Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree and minimum 6 years of experience in: Product Ownership,Enterprise Data, Data Products, Data Strategy, Business/Data Analysis, Technical Product Management
- Strong banking or financial services industry experience.
- Experience working within enterprise data organizations or Chief Data Office environments.
- Demonstrated experience building or leading early-stage or enterprise-scale data products.
- Proven experience functioning as a true Product Owner responsible for product vision and prioritization.
