Summary:
The Product Owner - Electric Data Management (EDM) is responsible for defining and delivering data ingestion frameworks and data products that support Transmission and Distribution (T&D) operations.
This role owns the vision and roadmap for operational data pipelines and curated data products that enable grid reliability, asset performance visibility, outage response, DER integration, regulatory reporting, and advanced analytics.
The Product Owner ensures that data from field devices, substations, AMI, SCADA, GIS, OMS, and enterprise systems is ingested, validated, transformed, and delivered as trusted, business-ready data products.

Product Vision & Strategy:
- Define the roadmap for T&D data ingestion platforms and data products
- Establish reusable data product standards (e.g., feeder health, transformer performance, outage impact, DER visibility)
- Align with grid modernization initiatives, ADMS evolution, and digital twin strategy
- Drive transition from project-based integrations to product-based data capabilities
Own end-to-end ingestion strategy across:
- Defining ingestion patterns (batch, streaming, near real-time)
- Ensuring API and event-driven architecture standards
- Prioritizing data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring capabilities
- Driving observability and lineage for operational data
- Define and maintain backlog for grid-facing data products
- Write clear user stories with measurable acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and operations stakeholders

- 5 years of experience in electric Transmission or Distribution domain
- 3 years of experience as Product Owner, Data Product Owner, or similar
- Strong understanding of T&D data flows and grid operations
- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks
- Snowflake, Matillion or Data Integration expertise
