Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Jira dashboards and filters for engineering and program tracking
- Write, optimize, and manage advanced JQL (Jira Query Language) queries
- Build both high-level executive dashboards and detailed engineering-level reporting views
- Collaborate with Program Management Engineers and Engineering Leads to align reporting with GPDS milestones and deliverables
- Provide hands-on Jira support to engineering teams, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Train and guide users on Jira best practices, reporting capabilities, and efficient usage
- Standardize Jira workflows, fields, and reporting structures across multiple programs
- Evaluate and support Atlassian tools and integrations (e.g., Confluence, reporting plugins)
- Continuously improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and usability within Jira environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Jira in an engineering or technical environment
- Strong expertise in Jira dashboards, filters, and reporting tools
- Advanced proficiency in JQL (Jira Query Language)
- Working knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Proven ability to design both executive-level and detailed operational dashboards
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support technical users
- Experience supporting automotive or hardware engineering programs
- Familiarity with GPDS or similar product development frameworks
- Experience with Jira plugins, reporting tools, or integrations
- Background in data visualization or analytics
