Job Description:

This role involves software development, system integration, and architectural governance to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient application delivery.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Technical:
• Strong software engineering background
• Full-stack fundamentals with depth in data platforms
• Proficiency in Python and Typescript
• Understanding of data pipeline architecture and distributed execution environments
• Ability to work independently and own technical outcomes
• Operational:
• Skilled in architectural trade-off decisions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and high-pressure incidents
• Experience in complex operational workflows with tight timelines
  

Desired Skills

• Data engineering experience (Python, PySpark, Polars)
• Familiarity with ontology design and object-based data modeling
• Understanding of data lineage and impact analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues
• Utility industry knowledge, especially grid resiliency focus
