- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT software procurement
- IT Asset Lifecycle & Licensing Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, RaaS, and IaaS licensing models. Understanding of per-user, per-core, and consumption-based entitlements to prevent overspending and audit risks. Proficiency in the ISO-9902 Cloud Procurement Framework.
- Strategic Negotiation: Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), data sovereignty clauses, and renewal caps.
- Technical Project Management: Ability to manage a procurement pipeline as a project, including setting milestones, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and aligning procurement timelines with technical rollouts.
- Complex RFP/RFQ Development: Experience drafting and evaluating enterprise-level solicitations, ensuring Statements of Work (SOW) are technically sound and legally enforceable.
- Financial & Data Literacy: Ability to conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to support multi-year technology investment decisions.
