Description: Our client is currently seeking a Process & Application Lead V

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance Solutions Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of high-quality SAP-enabled solutions within the Finance workstream. This role will focus on SAP S/4 HANA and related applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards in a cloud-compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SAP Finance solutions including SAP S/4 HANA, MDG, BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, and certified applications such as Blackline, OneSource Global Next, OpenText VIM, Taulia, and Finance4U.
• Collaborate with System Integrators using hybrid Agile methodologies (POD-based sprint planning) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in sprint activities across multiple workstreams; review and map features to user stories and epics.
• Review and provide feedback on technical documentation including FSDs, TSDs, BCDs, PDDs, and BPPs.
• Ensure solution design integrity and traceability to business requirements.
• Lead technical architecture reviews and contribute to governance processes with thought leadership.
• Validate SAP S/4 build configurations against business documentation; assist with configuration and documentation.
• Review and approve development objects (RICEFWs) ensuring compliance with architecture principles and standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks impacting scope, schedule, and resources.
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Performance, Regression), mock cutovers, and deployment activities.
• Provide hypercare support post go-live and facilitate knowledge transfer to support teams.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in SAP Finance transformation programs, including SAP S/4 HANA (preferably RISE in private cloud).
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO/TR/PS modules and Finance business processes: GL, AR/AP, management accounting, close/consolidation, project systems, fixed assets, billing, cash management, FP&A, and analytics.
• Cross-functional SAP knowledge in SD, MM, or PM.
• Experience with at least three Finance-related applications (e.g., Blackline, Icertis, OneSource, OpenText VIM, Power Plan, Taulia, Tagetik, UI Planner, Finance4U).
• Proficiency in SAP BTP, Cloud ABAP, and Fiori app development; prior ABAP experience in ECC required.
• Familiarity with SAP BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, and enterprise analytics tools.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM and job scheduling tools (e.g., Redwood).
• Exposure to SAP Signavio for business process management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in utility, energy, or asset-intensive industries.
• Experience with Bluefield SAP implementations.
• SAP S/4 HANA certification.
