Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement test processes and methods to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Oversee and process data from environmental tests such as random vibration, static loading, thermal-vacuum testing, acoustic testing, and EMI/EMC testing.
• Design and develop mechanical test fixtures to support testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential issues and develop corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to resolve test issues.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in their work.
• Continuously seek ways to improve testing processes and methodologies.
  
  

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in an environmental testing role within the aerospace industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in test processes and method development.
• Proven experience in overseeing and processing data from environmental tests such as random vibration, static loading, thermal-vacuum testing, acoustic testing, and EMI/EMC testing.
• Expertise in the mechanical design of test fixtures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
