Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for leading a talented team of software engineers building data solutions that will help E D gain the strategic insights we need to deliver the most optimal user experience and to quickly adapt to market conditions that are constantly evolving.
  • You will apply your engineering and analytical skills to petabyte-scale data problems using the latest and most modern data analytics technologies on an ever-increasing number of data signals produced by the different products part of the M365 suite and our partners across the company.
  • You will model Microsoft's culture for inclusion, learning and growth. Coach employees to learn and grow while achieving their career goals. Care for the overall health, success, and satisfaction of the individual team members and the team as a whole.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C , C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6 years of industry experience developing enterprise grade software.
  • 1 years of experience leading engineering teams, or relevant experience that demonstrates readiness to step up into a people management role.
  • 4 years people management experience.

Software Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Salary : $139,900 - $304,200
